Star Chebet's Mysterious Disappearance and Haunting Return: A Tale of Spiritual Battles

 It is now the second year, and the experiences in Star Chebet's life are becoming more disturbing. Her social media fans are sympathizing and vilifying her in nearly equal measure. Most of them are concerned about what she is going through, while others are questioning why she wanted to make it in life so fast.




In March 2024, Chebet disappeared from social media, which kept her fans wondering where she had gone. She is a social media influencer who shot to fame through acting in the famous "Real Househelps of Kawangware." She had been creating content and going live on social media. When she stopped posting content online, everyone got curious.


She later reappeared on social media, but her reappearance was more frightening than her disappearance. Upon resurfacing, she claimed that she had been used to open a portal in a spiritual ritual in Kimugu, Kericho.


According to her, she tapped into the wrong realm and energies, and there was no hope of ever reversing the happenings.


In a clip that she posted in June 2024, she narrates the ordeal of her experience and dismisses claims that she was high on weed. She stated that she was now aware of herself and it had been a while since she puffed anything.


She claimed that powers and networks were created to mess her up, that she entered into groups and networks she did not understand, and that some networks had successfully been installed so someone somewhere was able to control the happenings around her. Through these networks, someone was able to switch off lights, and strange calls came in.


Two things, according to her, have so far happened due to those spiritual experiences: she lost her mother, and her voice was taken away.


She claims that those with the spiritual networks stole her voice and wanted to use her to sing to spirits.


It has recently been reported that Chebet moved into a rental in Nakuru three months ago and stayed indoors. It is said she had been ordering food, but from the beginning of 2025, she stopped ordering, and occasional screams have been heard from her room. This prompted the landlord to call her family. She has since been rushed to the hospital in Nanyuki for help.
